The Kerrygold Ballymaloe Literary Festival launch was held in O'Connell's Restaurant in Donnybrook, last Wednesday 30th April at 6.30pm. Tom O'Connell and his professional team greeted the 70 guests with delicious platters of food, glasses of wine and tumblers of homemade mint lemonade.

Many of the festival's sponsors attended including; Paul O'Brien, Jeanne Kelly and Emer McGuire from Kerrygold- the festival title sponsor, Helen McDaid from Failte Ireland, Declan Coppinger from Bord Bia, Grace Cox from Ballymaloe Country Relish and Helma Honda and Jose Neif from Proper and Authentic.

John Bowman launched the festival with a lovely introduction followed by a set of questions to both Festival Directors, Rory O'Connell and Darina Allen, festival participant and host, Rachel Allen and Jeanne Kelly, Head of Corporate Communications, Kerrygold.

It was a fantastic evening and a great launch of the Kerrygold Ballymaloe Literary Festival of Food and Wine. We would like to thank O'Connell's Restaurant for the fabulous hospitality, Host & Co for organising the event and all our guest for joining us!
