DIRECTIONS TO BALLYMALOE HOUSE

Driving:

From Dublin

Take the M8 to Cork at the end of the motorway, follow road signs for N25 to Rosslare or Waterford. After approx 15 miles you will arrive at Lakeview Roundabout. Take third exit signposted, ‘Whitegate’, pass petrol station on the right and at the grotto take a left. Take next left signposted ‘Ballymaloe House/ Ballycotton/ Cloyne’. Drive through village of Cloyne bending to the left and continue on road until you arrive at a cross roads. You will see Ballymaloe House entrance in front of you.

From Waterford / Rosslare

Take the N25 towards Cork and continue to the town Midleton. Take first left at lake view roundabout signposted, ‘Whitegate’, pass petrol station on the right and at the grotto take a left. Take next left signposted ‘Ballymaloe House/ Ballycotton/ Cloyne’. Drive through village of Cloyne bending to the left and continue on road until you arrive at a cross roads. You will see Ballymaloe House entrance in front of you.

From Cork

PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO BALLYMALOE HOUSE

Getting to Ballymaloe House via public transport- We suggest, once you arrive in Cork city, to get a taxi. We recommend East Cork Cabs, you can book them on 00353 21 4633 444.

From Cork Airport

Bus Route 226/226a Kinsale - Cork Airport - Parnell Place Bus Station - Kent Rail Station

Monday-Saturday

Cork airport terminal to Cork bus station (Parnell Place) every half an hour from 07.00 until 00.30. On Sunday this service goes every hour. This is a 25 minute journey. Follow directions from Cork Bus Station (Parnell Place) to Ballymaloe House

From Dublin Airport

Bus Route 704X Dublin Airport –Dublin City Centre- Cork Every hour from Dublin Airport Terminal 2 from 6.25 until 00.25 Every hour from Dublin Airport Terminal 1 from 6.30 until 00.30 Arrives at Patrick’s Quay, Cork City This is a 3.5 hour journey. Walk across bridge to Cork bus station. Follow directions from Cork Bus Station (Parnell Place) to Ballymaloe House

From Cork Train Station (Kent Station)

Route Mallow –Cork- Midleton - Cobh This train leaves every 30 minutes from 09.15 until 22.15. This is a 25 minute journey. You will need to get a taxi from Midleton train station to Ballymaloe House. We recommend East Cork Cabs, you can book them on 00353 21 4633 444.

From Cork Bus Station (Parnell Place) to Ballymaloe House

Bus Route 240 Cork- Cloyne – Ballycotton Please ask the bus driver to stop at the gates of Ballymaloe House Leaves Cork on Monday- Friday at 9.00, 15.30 and 17.45 Leaves Cork on Saturday at 08.50, 13.30, 15.30, 17.30 This is a 45minute journey. This service does not operate on Sunday’s.
