Natural Wines, talk and tasting with Isabelle Legeron MW | Litfest A Food and Drinks Literacy Festival at Ballymaloe

Natural Wines

Exploring the world of wines grown and made naturally with Isabelle Legeron MW, London based wine author, writer & global crusader for the natural wine movement and author of the critically acclaimed “Natural Wine: an introduction to organic & biodynamic wines made naturally” and founder of RAW WINE, a community of proper drinks with fairs in London, New York and Berlin.

What are natural wines? How do they match up against the conventional stuff? And why are they the only wines that Isabelle ever drinks?

Generally speaking, we have a very fixed idea of what wine should taste like and anything that does not conform is often cast aside. During this talk-tasting, Isabelle will share examples, stories and anecdotes from her book that will help open up this astounding world for you so that, in her words, "you never look back".
