Sunil Ghai from Pickle Restaurant, Dublin will deliver a cookery demonstration at Ballymaloe Cookery School.
Sunil Ghai has changed many people’s perception of Indian food in Ireland. One of those people is Darina Allen who adores his food and is thrilled to welcome Sunil to share some of the secrets of his glorious dishes at this year’s festival.
Sunil had already garnered an impressive array of awards, and fans, for his bold, contemporary cooking style. Born in Gwalior in central India, Sunil gained experience with the world famous Oberoi group.
He is not only the foremost Indian chef in Ireland, but Food & Wine’s Chef of the Year 2009 & Chef of the Year 2013 by the Restaurant Association of Ireland, the ultimate professional accolade for a chef in Ireland.
