Clodagh McKenna is an Irish chef, restaurateur and food writer. Her food influences are drawn from living, cooking and eating in Italy, France, New York, Cork and Dublin and she is known for her commitment to local and seasonally sourced food.
Currently based in Dublin, Clodagh has opened two bustling restaurants here. She also loves travel for work attending food festivals, hosting pop up dinners and recently taken the US by storm with her hugely popular US show, Clodagh’s Irish Food Trails which aired on PBS and Create TV reaching audience levels of 15 million.
In addition to the series, Clodagh is a successful food writer having published four cookbooks to date. She is the guest editor of the first ever Irish Times glossy Food and Wine Magazine and writes a column in one of Ireland leading magazines, The Gloss. This year she launched her online food journal The Daily Digest and has contributed to Wall Street Journal, Delicious Magazine, Red Magazine, Image Magazine, and many more.
Despite a hectic schedule and a continually growing business Clodagh is always happiest discovering new ingredients, producers and of course cooking - She best describes herself as an “eater and a feeder”!
