Lucy Pearce | Litfest A Food and Drinks Literacy Festival at Ballymaloe

Lucy Pearce is a freelance writer, author of three women’s books, pro-blogger, co-editor at JUNO magazine. She regularly teaches food blogging at the Ballymaloe Cookery School, and is personal blogging consultant to Darina Allen. Two of her blogs were shortlisted for the 2012 Irish Blog Awards. She was previously the food feature writer at JUNO magazine, and has had food-related features published in The Guardian, The Irish Examiner and Modern Mum magazine.

An East Cork local, she is the eldest daughter of celebrated local potter, Stephen Pearce. She lives to eat, and adores reading cookery books almost as much as writing, baking and eating. She is a busy mother of three small children, and specialises in teaching parents how to fit creativity into their lives. Her main blog for creativity, mindful living, community and motherhood is Dreaming Aloud. Her dedicated baking blog is The Queen of Puddings.
