Tim Magee | Litfest A Food and Drinks Literacy Festival at Ballymaloe

Tim Magee is the travel columnist at The Gloss magazine as Man In A Suitcase (Twitter @manandasuitcase) distributed with the Irish Times for the last four years. He also writes A View From A Table, a separate column specifically dedicated to destination dining. Previously he was a restaurant reviewer and travel writer (under the pseudonym Charlie Pitcher) for Business & Finance.

Tim is also a public relations consultant whose company – Ireland’s specialist hospitality, food and wine agency – has the largest hospitality roster in the country, and he has been a restaurant consultant for the last 14 years. As well as his client base in Ireland Tim travels extensively and works with clients in New York, the Middle East, Los Angeles, Miami, the Caribbean, London and Switzerland.

Tim has also written about travel, dining and hospitality for the Irish Independent, Brown Thomas Magazine (with the Irish Times) and the Sunday Business Post.
